Chapter 9. A Marriage Of Convenience

Ethan’s POV

I showed Emma to her room and stormed back to my father’s office. This time I did not bother knocking, I just barged right in. I wasn’t surprised to see Beta Daniel sitting across from my father and they were in deep discussion. Both of them raise their eyes to look at me as I slam the office door shut behind me.

“Leave,” I growl at Beta Daniel. I am still upset with him for putting his hands on my fiance.

“Whatever you have to say you can say in front of Daniel,” my father says with a smirk on his face. That smirk tells me all that I need to know. He has filled Daniel in on his plans for me to marry Emma.

“Fine,” I grumble under my breath. Trying to compose my anger I take a deep breath. I breathe in deeply but when I exhale all of my anger rushes out and I growl at my father. “What the fuck?” I yell out loud at no one.

“It seems like you are angry, Son,” My father says with the stupid smirk still on his face and I want nothing more
