Chapter 15. You Are a Dead Man

Ethan’s POV

I stare at the mounds of paperwork sitting in front of me at my father’s desk. Once Emma showed up and he decided that I would marry and mate her he started giving me more of his Alpha duties. As much as I try I cannot seem to focus on the work that is in front of me. My mind keeps wandering to the little curly haired she-wolf that I am supposed to marry.

As much as I hate to admit it, she is growing on me. After everything that she has been through there is still innocence behind her eyes. Closing my eyes I try to rid my brain of thoughts of her but it is of no use. Every time I close my eyes I see her bright green eyes staring at me. I think I might be falling in love with her.

My wolf howls in my head, begging me to go and find her. I try to tell him that she is with Daniel so she is safe but he doesn’t seem to agree. He has decided that she is only safe under my care.

Forcing myself to look down at the papers in front of me I sign my na
