Chapter 12

Naya came out to meet Hazel sitting on the veranda  

“What’s up, you left the dining without saying anything to anyone,” Naya asked 

"I'm sorry, I just needed some fresh air," Hazel replied, looking out at the garden.

Naya nodded understandingly. "Is everything okay? You seem a bit off today."

Hazel sighed and looked at Naya. "I've just been feeling a bit overwhelmed. 

Naya reached out and placed a comforting hand on Hazel's shoulder. "I'm here for you, Hazel. You don't have to go through this alone. Let's talk about it."

Hazel smiled gratefully at her friend. "Thank you, Naya. I appreciate it. Let's grab a coffee and chat." 

And with that, the two girls headed inside to have a heart-to-heart conversation and support each other through tough times.
