Hazel entered her room, slamming the door shut behind her. The weight of her emotions crashed over her like a tidal wave, and she couldn't hold back the tears any longer.
She collapsed onto her bed, sobs wracking her body as she thought back to the painful memories of Ethan's castle.
The torment, the rejection,it had nearly broken her. And now, despite finding a second chance with Noah, she felt as if history was repeating itself. He wouldn't even give her the chance to explain, to show him that she was more than just a helpless victim.
