Chapter 25. Bed Me, Now

Sushmita’s POV

“Mita, honey, wake up. Breakfast is ready,” Rodney said as he held my hand and pulled me on the terrace.

“Wow, you prepared this?” I said as I glanced at the table. It’s full of delicious breakfast meals and the place is scenic.

We were somewhere in California and facing the beautiful and relaxing view of the Big Sur Coastline. It’s my first time to see the view at the terrace because we immediately headed straight to Bryce when our plane landed.

“I just ordered it,” he said.

“Oh, this is nice,” I said and he helped me sit on the chair.

He’s starting to be gentle to me. I hope this will not change.

Rodney sat on the other chair, we were face to face now as we dug in and ate breakfast.

“Somethings missing, where’s your phone?”

I said as I noticed that he’s not holding his phone now.

He always brought it anywhere, even if he was eating but now, it is different.
