Chapter 27. Coming Back to Hometown

Sushmita’s POV

We were on our flight now heading back to the Philippines. We were sitting on the VIP seats while the flight attendants were preparing cakes and wines. I took a deep, bored breath and drank the red wine in front of me.

Rodney was looking at me but I’m not even taking a glance at him because I was busy reading a book while playing some music.

I am trying to avoid a conversation with him because I’m so upset with myself. I’m so stupid. So stupid. Why did I utter my first love’s name in front of my husband while we were making love? I’m really going crazy.

I tried to erase that on my mind as I noticed that Rodney was sitting beside me now, he was sitting towards me earlier and now he wanted to be near me again. He lay his head on my right shoulder as he was trying to take a nap. He was really the cutest when he’s always doing that. I bet he’s not mad nor upset anymore.
