Chapter 33. Jealousy

Rodney’s POV

She was really mad, why would she? It’s just a kiss. Is that a big deal? She’s overreacting things.

It’s been a week since we got home after that tragic moment but Sushmita still ignores me. I haven’t spoken to her since that day.

I kept myself busy on our family business because Harold needs me in the company for a moment while I have to assign some mob work to Daniel like the shipments of d***s and the shares of the Casino in Las Vegas.

I always filled the house with bodyguards whenever I left Sushmita all alone so that she would be safe. There is no threat now for the meantime because Gabriel is in jail and my enemies are laying low.

I was on my way home driving, travelling for a mile when I saw a McDonald’s restaurant so I went there and ordered from the drive thru.
