Chapter 37. Unexpected Surprise

Sushmita’s POV

I was at the OB Gyn Clinic that my sister Deborah recommended. I gave her a call as soon as I could handle my situation. She booked me an appointment with Dra. Marissa Mariano. She’s the midwife who helped Deborah bring Ranz to the world.

“Well, because this is your first trimester, you need to take a lot of water and good rest and eat a lot of iron rich foods, it’s important that you are not low blooded to prevent fainting again,” Dra. Mariano said as she was writing me a medicine prescription.

“You are 2 weeks pregnant so just take a lot of bed rest and drink your vitamins here it is,” she said as she handed me the paper where she wrote the medicine prescription.

“Thank you so much, Dra. Mariano,” I said.

“Congratulations, Sushmita dear,” she said and smiled at me.

“Thank you,” I said again.

“See? I told you she’s good,” Deborah said to me.

“Yeah, thanks I feel at ease now,” I said.
