Chapter 41. A Letter for Rodney
Rodney’s POV
I hired someone to background check Daniel again and to dig more about his past because I want to know who his true family are.
I was driving when suddenly my phone rang, it was my sister Abbigael.
“Yes?”
“Rodney, where are you?”
“In New York, why?”
“Have you visited our mother’s grave?”
“No, why?”
“There’s something you need to know.”
“What is it? tell me.”
“I visited mother’s grave and there’s a letter on her tomb so I took it and it addresses to you.”
“Me? A letter? Can you read it for me?”
“Are you sure you want me to open it?”
“Yeah, it doesn’t matter, we’re siblings.”
“Okay, maybe I’ll just emailed it to you later when I get home.”
“Why? Where the hell are you?”
“I’m at the Garcellano’s.”
“What are you doing there?”
“Uhm, can you please promise me not to tell Dad?”
“Why? About what?”
“I’m with Brent.”
“Brent? Wait. Brent Garcellano?”
