Chapter 67. The Truth
Sushmita’s POV
It’s afternoon and the sun is preparing to set down to give way to the moon again.
I couldn’t wait any longer, so when Rod fell asleep, I escaped his Villa and drove his car.
It was 8 in the evening and I was blinded by the darkness of the atmosphere around me. It’s cold and I feel the chills on my body, shivering.
I need to find the key. I can see the Villa now but something catches my eyes when I look at the rearview mirror. There’s a black car following me so I drove fast until I reached the speed limit.
I don’t know who’s following me but one thing is for sure, they will not do good.
As soon as I reached the Villa, I noticed that the one who was following me all along was Rod, so I got out of the car and lured him to the shore. I kept on walking because I knew that he was following me.
