Rodney’s POV

I stood on the terrace of the Villa where Sushmita left this house unexpectedly.

I’m just here, standing and looking at the view of the sunset slowly kissing the calm sea.

Sushmita, My love, where are you? It’s been two weeks and I couldn’t find you. I’m getting close to losing my mind.

I know I have so many shortcomings and broken promises to you but my life won’t be completed without you.

My icy stone heart turned into a hot blazing fire when I met you. The waves in the sea of my thoughts begin to be silent and calm when you kiss me for the very first time and the merciless demon monster inside me seems to vanish when you give yourself to me. I didn’t realize that you are capable of loving and accepting my imperfections.

But now that you’re nowhere to be found, my longing seems to get worse and worse day by day, like a hungry wild animal waiting patiently for his prey to come and the alcohol is the only friend I have.
