“Oh my dear daughter…” My father approached Alpha Matthias and I.

“Father, congratulations.” I could no longer count the number of times I had said congratulations to my father but, well, I was just so happy for him. I was sure he would do great.

“Can I please have one dance with my daughter,” my father turned to Alpha Matthias to ask.

“Certainly, father-in-law.”

“Father-in-law?” Asked my father.

“Yes! It's only a matter of time so I might as well just get used to addressing you as such.”

My father hummed. I grinned. Alpha Matthias flashed me a smile, and then stepped aside for my father to take his place.

“You two are getting serious, huh?” My father asked as I twirled, and then returned my hands over his shoulders.
