“Hayden!” Alpha Matthias’ voice rose a pitch higher as Hayden staggered as he made his way towards us. And then he fell with a thud.

His body was bloodied and battered under his clothes. I saw this as I assisted Alpha Matthias to give him medical aid after he and my father had brought him inside. 

“I wonder what must have happened to him,” I said as I stitched a stab wound in his lower abdomen. He had several stab wounds, in his chest, his shoulder, his hands, his legs and they weren't healing like they should, which meant it was a silver object that had been used to stab him.
