I turned to my father and Alpha Matthias. “We should let her be,” I pleaded. “She's defeated. There's no need for more bloodshed. Let's just lock her up alongside her father and we can let the entire werewolf community decide what happens to them. After all, they haven't just wronged us but the entire werewolf community. And this pack of theirs as well. They have forced them to live in terror all this while. Now we have freed them.”

“Are you sure, love?” Alpha Matthias moved to my side, placing a hand over my shoulder. I looked up at him and nodded.

Murmurs and hums of agreement rang out from them in the next second and even Beta Tom and Hayden, both of whom had moved to Alpha Duncan when my father had made his way towards me, also hummed in agreement. And so did the rest of our people scattered and injured on the floor.
