I cut in. “That's right, grandfather. Father even has a position in the government now.”

“Really?” My grandfather asked through squinted eyes and I nodded. “In that case Williams, I can understand why you can't take up my offer.”

“What about Issahil?” My father suggested and turned to look at me and my grandfather also turned to look at me. I blinked. 

“She can be Luna and lead moonville pack. Who said only an Alpha is capable of leading a pack? A luna can lead a pack as well… I believe it's time we embrace certain changes. She is strong, father-in-law,” pride shimmered in my father's eyes as he stared at me. I managed a smile.

“And she is so wise. She can lead moonville pack into a new era. She is in every way, a leader.”

My grandfather's gaze seemed to scrutinise me as my father spoke. But I never said I wanted to be Luna of moonville pack?

“Issa, what do you think about becoming Luna of moonville pack?”
