My coronation ceremony had been grand and weirdly enough, in spite of all my troubled emotions and thoughts, I had enjoyed every bit of it.

After it was concluded and everyone dispersed to their respective homes, I found myself yearning for solitude. So, I wandered through the pack's territory, my steps slow with the night air cool against my skin.

The full moon was hanging high in the sky and stars like speckles of glittering dust littered the sky, litting it up beautifully and casting its glow over the earth below.

But I was barely able to appreciate the beauty of the night sky, not when my thoughts kept circling back to Alpha Logan and everything he had told me the previous day about Lillian's dark magic and how he had been under its influence… I couldn't help thinking that although Alpha Logan had hurt me deeply, he had been manipulated by forces beyond his control… It made me question everything altogether.
