Chapter 177. Long Live Luna Issahil

Issahil's POV

The hall was adorned with banners bearing the emblem of Moonville pack. The refreshing scent of fresh flowers was in the air. 

At the front, the elders of the pack stood ready to conduct the ceremony.

I stepped forward and the elders began the formal proceedings.

“Today, we gather to honour the ascension of our new Luna,” one of the elders began. He was the head among all the other elders. 

“Issahil has shown herself to be a leader of great strength and compassion. Alongside her father, and both the alphas of Nightshade pack and cloudfall pack, she helped save us from the rule of terror of our previous alpha who dethroned his father forcefully, and then forced his reign on us. It is therefore, with great joy that we welcome her as our Luna today.”

The pack members cheered in harmony. I smiled lightly. 

The Elder beckoned me forward, into a circle drawn on the floor and I obliged, my heart poundin
