It had been rather amusing teasing Alpha Matthias but I had felt a tug on my heart when he had turned his back to me. He had seemed so crushed…so heartbroken, when he had thought I was leaving him and that I had chosen Alpha Logan over him.

If only he knew how deeply I loved him but then I had only just come to the realisation myself after Alpha Logan had showed up not long after Alpha Matthias had left the previous night.

The feeling both of them gave me were different and it had been then I had realised that with Alpha Matthias, I felt secure, protected, treasured in a way so deep.

It was true that there was once a time I had felt the same way for Alpha Logan, not as deep though. But it was then I had confirmed that I didn't feel like that anymore for Alpha Logan.
