It was midday. Alpha Matthias and I were seeing my father off. We had driven with him in a carriage through the forests to the knitted mesh of grass, which served as the boundary between the werewolf territory and the human territory.

We'd all alighted from the carriage. I hugged my father tightly. 

“You take care, okay? I will write to you and be sure to write back.”

I hummed at his words, and then released him. “Please, give these letters to my friends. Each one is addressed to one of them and I also wrote down their respective addresses.” 

I passed a couple letters to my father. I had written to inform each of my friends that I will be back in a year's time, explaining to them about my coronation as Luna of my pack and my marriage with Alpha Matthias. I also expressed in the letters how much I missed them. And I also inquired about their wellbeing.
