Chapter 190. Shy

Alpha William's POV

Leaning down towards Nica, I reached out to brush a strand of hair from her face. “Sleep well, Nica.” And then I leaned back and made my way out of the room.

I made my way to my study, knowing that the maids I had asked to clean my room must still be at it. Settling on a chair behind my desk, the events of the night replayed in my mind.

“Want to hear a secret? I have always had a crush on you, don't tell anyone.” 

Those words wouldn't stop playing in my head and weirdly enough, I felt good about this drunken confession from her. But then, I caught myself and sighed heavily. 

Was it really wrong for me to feel the way I felt towards Nica, because she was my daughter's friend? If she wasn't then, would that make it right? 

Either way, she was too young but then, how she made me feel was undeniable. She was young but she was still a woman in every way…at least to me. But then was it wrong because sh
