Chapter 81. He Is Not Here

Issahil's POV

I was literally shuddering in rage. My claws stretched out and dug into Theophilus neck, drawing blood. Choking sounds escaped his lips.

“Calm down Issa, we still need him alive, at least until we find Erlind.”

Alpha Matthias wrapped an arm around me as he spoke, and then he guided me away from Theophilus.

My claws retracted into my hands but the dam broke loose within me and I crashed into his chest sobbing profusely. “My baby… My poor baby…”

It was still fresh in my mind, the state I had found my father and the rest at the science lab when we went to rescue them… Just the thought that they were conducting the very same experiments that had left my father and the rest in that state, on my poor baby was devastating. It was like my insides were being ripped out.
