Chapter 87. Trapped

Issahil's POV

Don't tell me…a gasp escaped my lips. Don't tell me that the emperor himself has something to do with my son's abduction.

It made sense if he did. He was after all, a part of the government in the human territory…

A tingling sound made me turn my head to see the crystal ball moving about a particular spot.

It had made that sound, the crystal ball, I don't know how though. But it had made that sound to call back my attention to the matter at hand.

What was wrong with me? I chided myself internally. I had to stop getting distracted if I wanted to be done with what I was here for before my time was up.

I walked towards the crystal ball. “Okay, let's go.” For some reason I just felt like I could talk to it. Like it could understand me.

It made the tingling sound again as if acknowledging that it heard me but it didn't stop moving about that particular spot I was now standing on.
