Chapter 93. An Undeserving Longing

Alpha Logan's POV

“I was being unreasonable,  Alpha. I am sorry.”

A sigh escaped my lips at these words from Elijah. “I am sorry too.” I was taking it out on him. I didn't mean to but I was.

“I will get the pack in order. You won't hear any more gossip from them.”

An involuntary scoff escaped my lips. “Just let them be.” They had every right to. And with another scoff, I started to make my way out of the room.

Elijah followed behind me but when we got to the stairway, while I made my way up the stairs to the upper chambers, he descended downstairs in hesitant steps.

Reaching the end of the stairs, I stepped into the hallway and started to make my way down it. I got to my door and halted but didn't go in. I hesitated for a while at the door, and then my feet started to walk away from it, halting at the next door, which had been Issahil's bedroom.

Drawing a sharp breath, I opened the door and stepped in.
