Not saying a word, Levi walked back to his desk and picked up his keys and phone before turning around to look at me. I sighed, forcing myself to rise from the couch as he finally let out, "You live on 1610 Main Street, complex 5, right?"
"Yeah…" I whispered, bowing my head slightly toward him, and he merely nodded in response, walking past me without another glance, his back in my sight as I hopped, following him.
At last, I felt a sense of relief when we got to the parking lot and it was just the two of us because while we were leaving the building, people kept staring and whispering, and it felt weird as hell.
When we reached his car, Levi unlocked the vehicle and opened the passenger door, looking at me as he said, "Get in."
