As Levi moved his lips to speak, the room door opened suddenly, and a female doctor walked in, carrying a clipboard and a few papers in her hand, followed by two nurses.

A smile appeared on her face when she saw me and approached, saying in a friendly tone, "Miss Bishop... It is good to see that you are awake. Now, your boyfriend's heart can finally beat peacefully, isn't that right?"

A sense of nervousness overcame me, and before I could think straight, I had already blurted out, "Oh, he's not my boyfriend, but my boss."

An awkward silence fell between the five of us as the doctor stared at me with an expression of disbelief, obviously not believing my response.

After a while, though, she smiled and replied, "It seemed that I mistook his deep concern for you as something more than a boss and employee relationship, and for that, I apologize."
