Roy’s Pov:

My heart skipped a beat but and I tried not to panic. Just act normal. Even if he was suspecting me, if only I can behave normal with confidence he might think he was mistaken.

Just then, someone grabbed my arm. I had not seen who it was but I knew it was definitely not Jason because the hand that held me was way smaller than mine, softer and the grip light.

I turned to look at the person and it was a lady, looking at me with a knowing grin. I was not sure if I had seen her before. I think she has mistaken me for someone.

“Hey you!” she said and I recognized the voice instantly. “Got you now, haven’t I? Why did you run away after pushing my basket of fruits away? You did not help me pick them up and it was all your fault. Was that a nice thing to do?”

“No it was not my lady. I sincerely apologize,” I said in the most gentleman voice I could muster. “I am so sorry. I was in a terrible hurry that was why I could not wait to gather your fruits f
