Chapter 41

Jason’s Pov:

I woke up with a start. What was this constant dream I kept having about this guy? Today, I dreamed that he grabbed Brenda from me, threw her into her sack and ran away with her while she kept screaming my name.

At this point, I believed it was no longer a coincidence. Something is definitely wrong. I think I should investigate more about him.

Should I check up on Brenda? She would wonder what it was with me but I don’t have to tell her I was there to check if she had been abducted. I would just go there like I had casually come to see her.

I walked out of my room and headed for her house. There was something not right with the way her door was left ajar.

I ran in and found Dominick looking around.

“Where is Brenda?” I asked him.

He was panting heavily. I waited for a reply but none came.

“Dominick, where is Brenda,” I asked again, my voice raised.

“She has been taken away,” his voice trembled when he spoke.
