Chapter 58

Dominick’s Pov:

I heard their door squeak open and waited. I had thought he was leaving because had an odd habit of leaving the house at odd hours.

Many a times I hear someone leaving the house at night and I had always assumed he was the one.

“Hurry up,” I heard a harsh whisper. I did not hear anything again till a few seconds after when the main door downstairs was opened and closed.

I stood up and went downstairs hurriedly. I looked through the window and saw them waiting by the road. The street was almost empty but there were a few people walking around and some cars and bikes.

A car pulled up in front of them. They entered and it zoomed off. I ran out and hoped another would be in sight soon so I would go after them since I had no idea where they were going.

I checked my pocket and I had some money from my savings. A bike passed by and I quickly stopped it. I just signaled to the man to go after the car that was some distance away.

The
