As the grand hall's enormous doors slowly creaked open, a procession of maidens, each accompanied by their servants, began to fill the expansive room. The hall, with its high ceilings adorned with intricate frescoes and its floor lined with polished marble, echoed with the soft rustle of silks and murmured conversatio
