Shimma’s POV

I drove to the company and parked my car in the lot. I stepped out of my car just as a white Mercedes-Benz parked beside it.

I reached into my car for my bag and took it out, shutting the door behind me, when I noticed someone stepping out of the other vehicle. I pressed the lock button on my key fob, about to head inside the building, when I heard, “Hi.” I turned to see the man who had just gotten out of the car. I had avoided looking at him earlier because I don’t really like giving people the satisfaction of checking them out. They might think too highly of themselves, especially those arrogant men who believe every girl has to stare at them just because of their looks.
