Mattias’s POV

“What’s that?” she asked. I could see the curiosity in her eyes.

“Uhm, Shimma, I…” I stuttered, looking away from her because I couldn’t find the right words. How do I tell her this?

“Knock, knock.”

I heard someone knock. I got up and headed for the door. I opened it, surprised to see Shimma’s mother.

“Hi, Mattias,” she greeted with a wide grin.

“M-Mrs. Anna,” I stuttered, as she furrowed her brows.

“Mattias, you look worried. Aren’t you expecting to see me?” Mrs. Anna asked.

“Come in, Mrs. Anna. Shimma has been waiting for you,” I said with a smile, stepping aside to make way for her to enter.
