“Will it be a boy or a girl?” asked Rafael as he lay with his face to Aleah’s stomach.
“I don’t know, I never said yes to the doctor’s offer to see the baby’s sex every time your mother took me to see the gynecologist,” Aleah replied calmly. Rafael, who heard this answer, frowned in confusion.
“Why? Isn’t the sex of the fetus already known, why don’t you try to find out? I’ve been waiting for a long time for you to give me an ultrasound photo with the sex of the baby,” Rafael asked, putting on a funny face in an attempt to tease Aleah.
Rafael had heard that pregnant women were very sensitive because of their unstable hormones. He didn’t want to offend his wife, so he was very careful when asking questions that confused her.
