Chapter 58
Food is ready, and there is still no sign of them. Texting Georgina to see where they are, we sit and eat. Georgina’s car pulls into the drive. It is nearly 9 pm. I’m trying to stay calm. I wait for her to come in. I was secretly panicking the whole time, waiting for them.
“Sorry, the kids were a mess after food, so we went to buy them a change of clothes. They had fun though. I dropped Helen at home before coming here as well.” I can’t complain about her taking so long. The girls look exhausted, though. Picking them up, I carry them upstairs, getting them into bed. No need for a story tonight. They fall straight to sleep.
Walking down, Georgina is still here.
“Well, let me see then.” I begin walking towards her, my hand slowly removing the bandage that is covering the tattoo.
When it is fully removed, she gasps. “Wow, not what I was expecting!”
