Chapter 14. His Birthday

Waking up, it is nearly seven o’clock. Have I really slept all day? Rubbing my eyes, I get up out of bed. Walking past the girls’ room, I see they are already asleep for the night. I feel more tired now than before. How is that even possible? Walking downstairs, sure enough I see there is food laid, as well as drinks and glasses. Jackson and Marcus are sat in the living room, talking. Walking over, he gets up. Walking to me, his hands grasp me, stopping me at the door.

Reluctantly, I walk to the kitchen. Grabbing food, I begin eating. I still feel sick and tired, but nothing compared to earlier. The door opens and Georgina walks in. I totally forgot to ring her and say happy birthday. Walking over to her, I wrap my arms around her and smile.
