Chapter 7
His back was propped against the wall in a casual manner, and his hand was holding a glass of wine.
For a moment, she stood there dumbfounded and just stared at him, unquestionably sexy, with two buttons undone at the collar of his grey shirt so that she got a sneak peek of a muscular chest.
“Oh, Alex, it is you!” She said, her voice a little squeaky as her mouth suddenly dried out owing to his irresistible stare that was burning her within. “How long have you been here?”
She wasn’t even sure why she was talking to him except that she couldn’t control her mouth, nor herself.
“A few minutes,” he said, his voice low and disturbingly sensual, spiking her nerves. “I was looking at you.”
“Me?” Mary half-screamed.
“Yes, you,” he affirmed, with a smile that gave his words a disarming intimacy. “Do you mind taking a walk out of here?”
“I don’t,” Mary cut in. “I am tired and was thinking of finding some silent place to clear my head,” she added.
