Chapter 10

Gasps could be heard across the large room, and the music was immediately turned off as everyone watched what was going on between Ace and Levi. 

Levi was on the marble floor, trying to collect himself but Ace did not let him. Ace sat on top of him and continued to hit the guy over and over. With each hit, more gasps and even some screams erupted. 

“Ace, stop it,” Selena tried to get Ace off Levi but it was impossible. “Stop it, you’re going to kill him!” She continued to try but she was just not strong enough to stop her husband. 

With each punch, more blood appeared on Levi’s face. “Stop it, please!” Clary cried out as tears rolled down her face. “Please, god, please stop!” Her voice broke. 

Clary’s voice was the only thing that pulled Ace from his fit of rage. He stopped hitting Levi and soon was pulled off by a couple of guards. He did not even struggle, he allowed the guards to take him away.
