Chapter 139

Calry did not believe that she had heard her mom correctly. “You asked Selena for help? Mom, are you serious? Selena hates me!” She cried. 

Everything was getting worse. The omega felt tears build up in her eyes again. 

“Okay, listen, I didn’t ask her for help. I had no choice. She caught me when you were in the bathroom.” 

“How?” Clary exclaimed, feeling frustrated. 

“Okay, I was cleaning the blood by the window and I heard a knock at the door. It was not a subtle knock, it was a bit loud and demanding. I tried to ignore it for a few seconds and it stopped,” Sarah began.  

“But only for the door to start to get unlocked out of a sudden. It was abrupt and I was taken by surprise, I did not know what to do,” She continued. 

“And?” Clary wanted to know the whole story and wanted no details to be left out. She hated that her life was now in the hands of the one person that hated her guts so badly.
