“Are you Clary Astoria?” One of the officers asked, his tone hard and icy. 

“No, no, it’s not her. Clary’s the one that’s inside. She’s the one that killed the guard. This is her mom,” Selena explained. 

“Ma’am, can you please step aside?” The same officer asked, taking a step forward.

Sarah was stunned. She could not get over Selena calling the police; Clary was right about the Luna.
