Chapter 49

My wolf was more powerful than I could fathom. With each breath I took, I could feel immense power and strength. I felt like I could do anything; like I was on top of the world. 

And this was the time. It was the moment that I had been waiting for. My wolf was so thrilled.

“Let me have them,” Eretria snarled in my mind, an excited grunt following shortly after. “Let me rip them to shreds!” Her voice echoed in my mind. 

Being in my full wolf form, I could feel so perfectly all that Eretria was feeling and it was not pretty. She was enraged. She wanted blood to be spilled. She wanted the moon to bleed into the night. She wanted revenge even more than I did. And that scared me a little. 

“But wait, if you’re not our daughter or a changeling, then who are you?” My supposed father asked. He stood his ground but I could see the fear in his eyes.
