Eretria was strong and powerful. She showed me just a glimpse of herself that night when there was a full moon and my consciousness was shoved out as she did whatever she wanted to do. Up to now, I did not have a single recollection of what had happened.
I only remember waking up with mud on my hands and feet; with a vague taste in my mouth.
As for Jade, I was confused. He was supposed to be after Sam’s wife but he came back hurt and was now unconscious. Something was definitely not right and that scared me. I needed time to think but I did not have the luxury.
“Lucia, get down!” I heard my mom say loudly and another arrow was shot in my direction. But this time, it went straight into my stomach, causing me to fall backward on the road with force.
