Chapter 77

It was the next day and I was left in the mansion with Pearl, Belle’s mom. The day was sunny and the wind was warm and very light. The sky was blue like a painting and bright white clouds floated slowly past the glowing sun. 

She and I were in one of the living rooms. The TV was on but was at a very low volume. 

A TV show about vampires was on and it actually looked very interesting but I could not bring myself to give it my full attention because I kept thinking about how I would be able to help Pearl. 

Belle had been taken to the hospital by her dad to check if she was still positive. To be honest, I was not worried about that because I had the assurance that the Moon goddess had healed her through me. 

But what I was indeed worried about was Pearl. I did not know if I could help her in the way that she needed to be helped. She stayed home and did not follow her family to the hospital because she needed my help.
