Chapter 80

With a racing heart and adrenaline rushing through my veins, I stared into the eyes of the Moon goddess. Of course, it was not her real form. Seeing her real form would be instant death for me.

She was in the same form that I last saw her in when I was in the spirit world. Her presence took away my fear and shock gradually and all I could feel was true peace.

“You did well.” She smiled brightly and I could not help but smile back.

“What are you talking about?”

“Come on. Do you want to make me say it?” She walked away from me and deeper into the library.

I followed her and ran my hand through my hair. “Actually, yes. Because I honestly don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Hmm,” She mumbled under her breath and continued to walk. She walked until she came to a stop right in front of a desk that had some old books scattered on it. Dust covered every one of them.

It was obvious that no one had been down here
