Chapter 79

“Which book?” Her mom asked. 

“The ones of reincarnation,” Belle replied. 

“Oh,” Billy joined the conversation. “I could stay here and help you if you want?” He offered his help but I wanted to be alone. 

“Oh, no. It’s alright. Go and be with your family. I would like to be alone anyway.” He nodded once. 

A few seconds passed and then he replied, “Alright then. We would be back in a few hours. Don’t wait up for us when you get hungry. And most of all, don’t leave the town without bidding us goodbye.” He smiled. 

“Sure, sure,”  I spoke in a monotone. “Now, you all please leave.” I chuckled. 

They did as I asked and in no time, I was alone. I loved that I was alone. I really did enjoy being alone. Not feeling alone though. Being alone and feeling alone were two different things. 

I went down to the kitchen and got myself some chips and a cart of juice before returning back to the living room. I slumped my body
