Chapter 90

I was on the couch, with a bowl of soup in my hand. I used my lap as a small table. It tasted so good and it was actually my second serving. My mom was sitting next to me. She was eating rice and stew instead. She always wasn’t a huge fan of soup. 

The soup that I was drinking reminded me of Billy. It was almost as good as his. And to my surprise, it was made Jade for his mother. I guess all the guys that I kept meeting in my life were just great cooks, better ones than me.

And talking about Jade, he was not here. He and his mother had left for the hospital. 

After the healing, I suggested that they go to the hospital to get checked up. I don’t know if it was because I was still insecure about my gift of healing, or if it was because I wanted Gloria to know from a professional that her cancer had disappeared. 

But all I wanted is for her to get checked up. 

The sound from the TV show that was on was not loud. I could barely hear the actors
