Chapter 94

Katara pressed a button and the doors unlocked. “So scared.” She laughed to herself, and Chad joined her. 

“You heard Lucia, stop the fricking car and I would make you stop it,” Jade growled the words out. I could see that his fangs were out. 

I should have listened. The Moon Goddess and my wolf kept warning me about Chad but I did not listen. I don't ever listen. I did that the last time when Jade and I freed the prisoners from the dungeon area. 

“Hey, man. No need to get rough. Just tell us why you had Katara’s mom poisoned,” Chad finally said what I had been suspecting him to say. He knew. He knew what my mom and Jade did. And if he knew then that meant that Katara knew. 

Jade was speechless and so was I. 

“Go faster. Press on that gas,” Chad said to his girlfriend, and she did as he asked. 

The car increased its speed and when I glanced out the window, all I saw was a blur of green due to how fast we were going.
