Chapter 21

“Hey, hey!” Bunny and Azula rush over to us. “Zayn…let go of him,” Bunny begs me, and I keep staring into Ashton’s red-colored eye as I crunch his shirt in my fist. Letting him go is the last thing on my mind right now.

It takes a lot for my devil face to be revealed, I have to be raging mad for that to happen. This is only a fraction of my transformation. I can fully shift into a hideous and jaw-dropping creature with giant wings like a bat. If my devil face is currently revealed, then that also means the long curved horns that come with it are also on full display for all to see.

Everyone is staring at me and Bunny has a look on her face, one that is begging me not to do anything that I would regret later.

Although Ashton is pretending to be brave and bold, I can see a hint of fear in his eyes. He clenches his jaw as he breathes heavily. “I’m here to see Lara,” His tone is tense.

“Let him go, Zayn. Now…” Bunny says authoritatively, and I do as she says.
