Chapter 26

My red heels click on the hardwood floor as I walk in with my date for the night: Zayn Meyer, the demon king. His right arm snakes right above my waist, gently touching the stunning dress that I am wearing.

The dress is dark as the night sky and has shiny glimmers that look like perfect stars. My thigh is slightly revealed and my lips are stained with red lipstick. My hair is held up, putting my features on display.

We have arrived at Bunny’s party, but it looks more like a diplomatic event. Definitely not like the parties that Ashton threw back at Beacon. Almost all the men are wearing expensive suits, including Zayn. 

I can feel so many eyes on me that it’s making my head spin with anxiety. I am not used to so much attention, or being at huge events like this. I thought this would be a normal party, but I guess that I keep forgetting that Zayn is a king, and Bunny is his personal advisor.
