Chapter 48

Zayn lets out a small laugh, followed by a scoff as he approaches us. Ashton tries to keep his hold on me but I wiggle out of his grip. “Zayn…” I begin but he stops me from going any further.

“Ashton, Bunny would be waiting down in the lobby to escort you out of my city. I talked to her on the phone already, and I also made a call to the police, and things are officially cleared up for you,” He explains formally. 

“Wow, I don’t know what to say…” Ashton chuckles after he replies to Zayn.

“Nothing. You don’t have to say anything. Just leave.”

Ashton glances at me and mouths, “Thank you.” before heading out of the penthouse, leaving me with the Demon King. 

As soon as the door closes, the silence in the room becomes so loud that it’s deafening. It’s clear that I need to talk to Zayn. He literally told me that he has feelings for me, so seeing me that way with Ashton was not flattering in the least.
