Chapter 54

What is Ashton doing? He really can not be saying these things to me. This was one of the reasons I stayed away from him when I broke it off with him. I knew he was not going to give up; that he’d keep trying. 

I really thought the week apart would do some good but that is clearly not the case. 

Today is literally the day that he is to get married to my sister and he has brought me into a room and has me alone with him. I should not even be in here.

“Ashton, I’m sorry but I have to leave.” 

“Leave? You’re not going to stay for the wedding?” He asked me, and I sighed loudly.

“I didn’t say that. I’m not leaving the wedding, but I am definitely leaving this room,” I told him confidently as I began to walk toward the exit but he held me. 

“Please, Lara. I’m pouring my heart to you and you don't even want to give me a chance.”

“We are way past this, Ashton! I chose Zayn, not you!” I raised my voice and a look of hurt crossed his face
