Chapter 70

I waited for Julia to speak while I watched her every move. If she almost took down Bunny at one time in the past, then there was no way I was going to underestimate her. 

“I’m here because although I may be able to see the future and stuff, I am not able to see emotions or sense how one feels. If you know what I mean.” She brushes her thumb on her nose. 

“I know. You can see the future and sometimes that makes you feel like a god, but you have a limitation and that humbles you: you can not see what is in the heart of another.” I explained, and she nodded slowly.

“I guess that’s about right. You hit the nail on the head.”

“I still don’t get why you’re here and what it has to do with me.” I stared at her as I spoke nonchalantly.

“Zayn, Bunny, and Hamish explained some story about me and told you to stay away from me. And I won’t lie to you, Lara. The story was true. But I had my reasons.” 

“Okay, Julia. Good for you. But again, why are you
